So what is fencing anyway?  

 

Fencing is the modern day International World Cup and Olympic Sport of swordplay. 

 

No, the swords aren't sharp. 

 

But because they can still leave a bruise, fencers wear heavy protective gear, not unlike armor.  Fencing most closely resembles a live action video game.

 

  Competitors are wired to a digital scoring machine that record every hit.  Unlike the swordplay in the movies, it doesn't take long for someone to get hit.  But very much like the movies, fencing is extremely athletic, fast, and beautiful.

 

Fencers tend to be very intelligent and highly creative.  Best of all fencers can be any gender, size, nationality or age!  Fencers can be as young as 4 and as old as 100!
